Our mission at the Double Nickel Campground is to create an atmosphere that makes customers want to return to us again and again. We strive for an environment that is safe, beautiful, relaxing, clean, and fun for both travelers spending the night and for families spending the weekend. We want you to enjoy your stay with us!
When we purchased our park in 2014 there were 103 back-in sites. We decided to redesign the park to have 47 pull-thru sites to ensure a more convenient experience for our customers. Our shortest site is 60 ft. and the longest is 120 ft. Despite the size of your rig, you will fit comfortably and enjoy your site. You will have plenty of room for your awning and space to stretch out. All sites have a porch swing, fire pit, and picnic table. No two sites are exactly the same. We have sites with and without trees and a handful overlooking the Sandy Meadows Golf Course. All trees are seasonally trimmed to provide 16 feet of clearance within your site. All sites and roads are hard packed limestone rock.
About the owners:
Jeff and Amanda Stoy purchased the Double Nickel in February of 2014. Prior to purchasing, Jeff was an operations manager for Turner Broadcasting, and Amanda was an elementary school teacher. They have two teenage sons who help around the campground. Jeff and Amanda live and work on site 24x7 to help ensure a safe and welcoming customer service experience.
